He is survived by: his daughter Patsy; his son-in-law Shelton Ruffin of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his children, Kathleen Burgess of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Lavelle; his daughter-in-law Martha Warren of Oak Grove, Louisiana; his son Melvin; his daughter-in-law Kathy Warren of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Ruffin, Mike Ruffin, Greg Burgess, Doug Burgess, April Eubanks, Darren Warren, Amy Renee Warren, Tracy Thompson, Laura Warren, Mona Lee and Richard Neal. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
