She was predeceased by: her husband James "Andy" Gibbon; her mother Nancye Carolyn "Fancy Pants" Rigdon; and her brother James Lavelle Rigdon. She is survived by: her sons, Jacob Lee Gibbon of Decatur, Mississippi and Edward Anthony Gibbon of Pioneer, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Lauren Danielle Gibbon of Oak Grove, Valerie Hope Gibbon of Oak Grove, Jacob Cole Helm of Decatur, Mallory Danielle Helm of Laurel, MS and Madelyn Cierra Helm of Bessmer, AL; her great grandchild Aspyn Sage McCurdy of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her father Bobby Lavelle "Pawpaw Crook" Rigdon of Elberton, GA.; and her brother Jimmy Darren Blackmore of Elberton, GA..

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Oak Grove Chapel (200 E Noble St, Oak Grove, LA 71263). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
