She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Dermott and Myrtle Smith; her husband Reginald Hill August; and her siblings, Dee, Shorty, Doolan, Thurlan, Coburn, Jvan Smith, Carolyn Bridges and Cloreda Eakin.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria (Steve Franks); her grandchildren, Ariana, Evan and Mackenzie Franks; and her siblings, Harrell, Bill Smith, Geretta Guyton and Marilyn Sparks (Albert). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
