She was predeceased by: her husband J. D. Welborne; her son Jason Shane Welborne; her foster son Donald Jordan; her parents, James Ovide Jones and Onyx Irene Hayward; her stepfather Frasier Hayward; and her sisters, Opal Self, Mamie Isgitt, Euna Goodman, Charlotte Lester and Patsy Owen.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina; her son-in-law Smokey Whatley of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her daughter Jeanna Welborne of Youngstown, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kylie Clark of Oak Grove, Kade Clark (Malorie) of Oak Grove and Stormy Conelly of Seaford, Delaware; her great grandchild Lawson Mills of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and her sister Carolyn Brumfield of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
