She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Earl Franklin, Sr.; her parents, Elmer Lee McDowell and Hattie Mae McDowell (Allen); and her sisters, Leola Adcock and Louise Brantley.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Earl Cowden of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her son Matt; her daughter-in-law Donna Franklin of Bastrop, Louisiana; her son Mike; her daughter-in-law Denise Franklin of Pineville, Louisiana; her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Kandice Franklin of Monroe, Louisiana; and her sister Evelyn Jones of Pioneer, Louisiana.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grand children, and 4 great great grandchildren.
