He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Prothro Plunkett and Eunie Maude Plunkett; and his brothers, Bennie Plunkett, Homer Plunkett and John Plunkett.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Rebecca "Becky" Plunkett of Epps, Louisiana; his children, Jackie Plunkett Honeycutt (Leo Honeycutt Of), Vickie Plunkett Dunkelberg (Dan Dunkelberg) of Fort Worth and Adam Ray Plunkett (Paula Plunkett); his grandchildren, Danielle Honeycutt, Jarrod Honeycutt (Ally), Samuel Dunkelberg, Kathryn Dunkelberg, Kirsti Plunkett Parks (Caleb), Haley Plunkett Tubbs (Brendon) and Whitney Plunkett Lambert (Spencer); his great grandchildren, Evangeline Rose Honeycutt, Jules Baxter Porche, Annaliese Parks, Artemis Parks, Andrew Parks, Ada Parks, Florence Honeycutt, Pratt Lambert, Webster Tubbs and Baby Parks; and his siblings, Morris Plunkett of Monroe, Louisiana and Joann Smitherman (Roger) of Choudrant, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Oak Grove Chapel (200 E Noble St, Oak Grove, LA 71263). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Thomas Jason Lingo Community Center (10284 LA-17, Oak Grove, LA 71263).
