He is survived by: his children, Cherry Rye (Steve) of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Johnese Philley of Oak Grove, John "Sammy" Philley (Sherry) of Oak Grove and Mary Philley of Oak Grove; and his sister Harlene Philley Mariolo of Santa Cruze, California. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
