It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Rios of Oak Grove, Louisiana, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Rios and Alvinia Rios (Mancha); his son James Kevin Rios; and his siblings, Augustine Rios, Alice Rios Fussell, Virginia Peterson, Lillie Ratcliff and Martin Rios.
He is survived by: his daughter Brandy; his son-in-law Benji Hooper of Baytown, Texas; his grandchildren, Brym Hooper, Rachel Marsh, Tyler Rios, Shannie Richardson and Kayla Johnson; and his brothers, Raymond Rios of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Robert Rios of Monroe. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
