She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee C. Overby and Naomi Overby; her son David Ray Butler; and her siblings, Judy Denton, Christine Garner and Pat Barmore.
She is survived by: her daughter Ginger Butler Martinez of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her daughter-in-law Barbara Butler of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Ray Butler of Monroe, Louisiana, Bryan Butler of Monroe, Louisiana, Gina Gladson of San Antonio, Texas, Kimberly Lejeaune of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Rachel Martinez of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
