She was predeceased by: her husband Buford "Bob" Mitchell, Sr.; her parents, Richard Grant Miller and Nellie Miller (Hicks); her former husband Edward Mitchell; her children, Miles Mitchell, Peggy Sanchez, Dianna Drurey and Tracy Johnson; and her siblings, Leonard Miller, Russ Miller, Bud Miller, Mutt Miller and Onita Byrd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Myrl Boyte (George) of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Sandra Barton (Ronnie) of Bastrop, Louisiana; and her stepchildren, Keith "Randy" Mitchell of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Kathy Ellis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Johnny Mitchell of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Sharon Mayeaux of Greenwell Springs. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
