She was predeceased by: her parents, James Otto Cauthen and Clara Mellissa Cauthen (Boutwell); her son Douglas Wayne Dark; and her sisters, Alma Gertrude May, Beulah Mae Kersh, Juanita Dozier, Lorraine Rouse, Jimmie Jordan and Brenda Cauthen.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Earl Dark of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her daughter Jeanne; her son-in-law Lonnie Styron of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her daughter Barbie Smith of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Cole Dark, Johnathon Cook, Endia Dark, Dustin Dark, Garren Colquette, Paul Michael Colquette, Aja Smith and Ali Smith; and her sisters, Patsy Still of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Shirley Chop of Oak Grove, Louisiana.. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
