It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise James Jelks of Norwood, Louisiana, who passed away on February 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy James and Willie Mae James; and her brother-in-law Douglas Jelks. She is survived by: her husband James Curtis Jelks; her children, Dawn Jelks and Andy Jelks (Jennie Rogillio Jelks); her sister Iris Jelks; her grandsons, Landon Jelks (Karley) and Dustin Jelks; and her great grandchildren, Lakelyn Jelks and Addie Jelks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norwood Baptist Benevolence Fund or Clarity Hospice of BR.
