She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond I. Hawkins and Grace Lorine Standiford Hawkins; her husband Edwin Randolph McDonald, Jr.; her siblings, W. E. Hawkins, Sr. and Hilda Hawkins Bradley; and her great grandchild Francis Harrison Treadwell.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia McDonald Lewellen (Mike) of Bowling Green, Edwin Randolph "Randy" McDonald, III (Aimee) of Newellton and Julia Dorry McDonald of Shreveport, Louisiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
