He was predeceased by: his parents, Governor Douglas and Pashion Douglas; his daughter Barbara; and his sister Ladel. He is survived by: his significant other Debra Cole; his children, Patsy, Doris, Dorothy, Teresa, Stephanie, LaTonya, Jamila, Lewis Jr., Charles, Clyde, Michael and Stevie; and his sons-in-law, Reggie, Joseph, Merion and Patrick. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
