It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Goodwin of Newellton, Louisiana, born in Sikes, Louisiana, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Lamar Goodwin; her granddaughter Faith Goodwin; her parents, Louie A. Lindsey and Tressie A. Lindsey; her brothers, Jimmy L. Lindsey and Donald R Lindsey; and her parents-in-law, Harvey J. and Maggie Goodwin.
She is survived by: her children, David Joel Goodwin of Oak Grove, Pamela Joy Goodwin of Newellton and Donna G. Burns (Scott) of Tallulah, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Chasity Estis, Madelyn Grace "Gracie" Goodwin, Summer Berry, Dakota Donley and Dylan Stewart; her great grandchildren, David Liam, Willow, Sophia, Braxton David, Rhenn and Maddox; her siblings, Coy Lindsey (Billy Jean) of Mangham, Louisiana, Kay Lindsey of Urania, Renee Lindsey King (Robert) of Urania and Sue Lindesy of Winnsboro, Louisiana; her children, Julie Chase (Melvin), Preston and Conlan; her siblings, Maybelle of Louis, R. J., Robert, Charles, Harvey "Poochie" and Richard; and her children, Pam and Sis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
