We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2024, at the age of 86, Joseph Pickens of Newellton, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Pickens and Rosalie Pickens. He is survived by: his wife Teri; his children, Jennifer Rose Work (Bob), Joey Pickens (Jenny), Rhonda Thibodeaux (Missy), Johnny Ray Pickens and Joseph Leander Pickens; his sister Barbara Jean Manske (Steve); and his stepchildren, J. T. Terry (Kasey), Russell Terry (Tina), LaDonna Welch, Laura Mosley (Anson) and Mary Terry. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
