He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Edward Searcy; his siblings, Thomas Michael Searcy and Kay Lynn English; his stepfather Johnny Merriett; and his niece Hazel English.
He is survived by: his mother Ava Nell McMurray Searcy; his son Walker Searcy (Tamara); his granddaughter Merriett Kathrine Searcy; his siblings, Randy Searcy, Cheryl Searcy and Leeann Currington; his friend Red Kinney; and his niece Paige Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home – Winnsboro (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295).
