He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Colvin and Ada Colvin; and his brothers, Bobby Colvin of Clinton, LA and Billy Colvin of Slidell, LA.. He is survived by: his wife Vera Jeanette Muse Colvin of Newellton; his children, Emily Caroline Colvin Curry (Craig) of Plain Dealing, LA and Justin Brodey Colvin of Newellton; and his grandsons, Caleb Charles Curry of Plain Dealing, LA and Coby Jake Warren Curry of Plain Dealing, LA. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flowers Landing Baptist Church (2302 LA-888, Newellton, LA 71357).
