He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Wicker Jolly; his children, Jonathan Wayne Jolly and Rebecca Lynn Jolly; and his siblings, Joe Everette Jolly, Jr., Henry Alvin Jolly and Myrtle Marie Holifield Jolly.

He is survived by: his children, James Isaac Blackledge, Jr. (Ranae) and Kimberly Ann Blackledge; his grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Blackledge Morales (Julio), Tyler Childs, James Isaac Blackledge, III, Cody Wayne Smith (Briana), Andrew Ray Guimbellot and Jacob Sikes (Bri); his great grandchildren, Julian Sikes, Jayden Sikes, Emeri Childs and Colton Wayne Smith; and his daughter-in-law Karrie Jolly. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
