She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Lee Johnson; her parents, Charles Sears and Doris Sears; and her grandson Joshua Jeremiah Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Tishea Samuels Lewis (Kyle) and Brandon Michael Samuels (Nicole); her stepchildren, Lamonica Solomon, Henry Johnson and Sharell Johnson; her grandchildren, Kyle Jr., Nia, Brandon Jr., Bailey and Neil; and her great grandchildren, Melody, Harmony and Eden. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church (5919 Morrison Rd, New Orleans, LA 70126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
