It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willmer Dean Gibbs of New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Benton Gibbs and Laura Belle Gibbs; her siblings, Henry Clay Gibbs, J. D. Gibbs, William Archie Gibbs, Eliza Francis Gibbs and Sharon Ann Hamby; her son Robin Dale Osborn; and her niece Shelia Ann Bernard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Clark and Patricia Quintel; her granddaughters, Shannon Clark and Amber Quintel; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Solo, Hendrix Quintel, Zinaleia Quintel, O'lazerae Solo, Elyden Solo and Lemiel Solo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
