He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Daniels and Mollie Wallace Daniels; his mother-in-law Vivian Haynes Richmond; and his siblings, Samuel Payton, Sally Payton Carter, Mary Payton Swearingen, Helen Payton Francois, Edith "Hazel" Daniels Carlton, John Henry Daniels and Joseph Baldwin Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Valda Wilder Daniels; his daughters, Theda Daniels-Race and Urica Daniels Regis (Wayne); his grandchildren, Kylan (Chelsea), Peyton Race and Royce Regis; and his godsons, Irving Joseph Johnson, III and Ado "Joe" Ball.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (2729 Lowerline St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
