He was predeceased by: his parents, William Armstead Sr. and Myrtle Franklin; his daughter Lisa Armstead Jackson (James); and his grandparents, Maude Armstead, Oscar Armstead Sr., Leona Hogan and George Hogan.
He is survived by: his children, William Armstead III (Tina), Alie Armstead (Cinthia) and Kahihee Jackson (Calvin); and his sisters, June William and Penny Armstead. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and family friends.
