He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barnes Thompson; his sons, Eric Thompson (Keshawn) and Jason Thompson (Krystin); his grandchildren, Ryanelle Jacobs, Briyanna Jones, Jaidyn, Nico and Bailey Thompson; his great grandchild Serenity Jacobs; and his sister Mary Jean Lee. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
