With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica Angelica Herrera of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 79. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Blanca Herrera; her children, Ruth W. Salem Aladwan (Yousef), Angelica H. Castañeda-Herrera and Milton D. Castañeda (Nancy); her grandchildren, Jebreil, Jobert Aladwan, Philip, Jayson, Dominick Gurganus and Gabriel Castañeda; and her siblings, Emma Fiallos and Naun Hernandez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
