He is survived by: his wife Rosa Foxx Dorsett of Gainestown; his sons, Lesley Winn and Vernell Dorsett, III; his granddaughter Xy'Lnn Dorsett of New Orleans; his stepson Jason Foxx of Gainestown; his siblings, Clarence Hamilton (Novelle) of New Orleans, Charles Dewitt of New Orleans, Matthew Dorsett of New Orleans, Thomas Dewitt, Jr. of Richmond, Calif. and Alice Daffin of Mobile; and his godchildren, Chris and Alysia Daffin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
