She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Winters and Cecile Winters; her sister Lois Winters Lanier; her grandson Scott Andrew Savona; her stepdaughter Patricia Farrell Scott; and her former husband Walter J. Farrell, Jr. of Parkinson's Disease.

She is survived by: her close friend Sidney G. Montecino, Sr.; her daughter Valerie Cozzens; her stepson Walter J. Farrell III; her grandchildren, Robert Savona (Cindy) and Stacie Daley (Dan); her stepgrandchildren, Slade Lewis (Tamie), Shannon Scott, Sharry Scott and Chris Farrell; and her nephew Sidney Lee Lanier, Jr. (Margaret). She is also survived by her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
