She was predeceased by: her son James "Mimmy" Johnson, Sr.; her grandson Rashad "Shady" Johnson, Jr.; her parents, Isabelle Butler and Edward Fields; her brother William Robertson, III; her grandmother Bierdell Stewart; her son-in-law Joseph Holmes; and her nephew Terrence Alexis, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Walter Johnson, Sr.; her children, Walter Johnson, Jr. (Engram), Rashad Johnson, Sr. (Ashely) and Quintrill Johnson, Sr.; her grandchildren, Shani Johnson Holmes, Cassidy, Shaunni, Temaj, Semaj, Jaime, James, Jr., Emoni, Jamia, Quintrill, Johnson, Jr. and Qwanye Jones; her siblings, Gloria Broadway, Bertrand and Barbara Butler; and her pet Bronx. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, extended relatives, many lifelong friends, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (4230 S Broad St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
