He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Butsy" Ross; his parents, Ferdinand A. Ross and Christina Mitchell Ross; and his siblings, Patrick, Ferdinand, Jr., Melvyn, Christina and Shirley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Fahrenholtz, Rebecca Hodges (Richard) and Cheryl Ross; his grandchildren, Nathaniel (Christine), Heidi (Michael), Vernon (Anna) of Rachel, T. J., Logan (Janna) and Zachary (Breanna); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Parker, Brentlee, Ella, Talya, Avery, Skylar, Oliver, Jameson and Margaret. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (631 State St, New Orleans, LA 70118). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Vincent Cemetery No. (1950 Soniat St, New Orleans, LA 70115).
