She is survived by: her children, Charles of Houston, TX, John Matassa of Houston, TX and Marianne Matassa Schrempp of Metairie, LA.; her daughter-in-law Amy Brewer Matassa; her sister Charlene Ruffino Philippi; and her grandchildren, Giancarlo, Daniela Matassa, Christina and Joseph Schrempp.
