He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Aufdemorte and Theodore Garic Aufdemorte Sr.. He is survived by: his son Theodore Garic Aufdemorte III; his sister Dorothy Ann Aufdemorte; his son Gerald Garic Aufdemorte (Gloria); his grandchildren, Shelby Paige Aufdemorte and Gerald Garic Aufdemorte Jr.; his sister June Catherine Aufdemorte (John); his close friend Walter Burton Hart (Diane); his godchildren, Troy Anthony Rauch (Kristen) and Christian Jason Hart (Colette); his nieces, Tracy Rauch Wolfe (Thomas) and Shannon Marie Ordes (Steve); his great-nieces, Madison Taylor Wolfe and Meghan Anne Wolfe; and his great-nephew Hugo Patrick Rauch. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery (3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119).
