Terry Levy Liebowitz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024, at the age of 87, Terry Levy Liebowitz in New Orleans, Louisiana, born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Levy Kaplan; her husband Jack Liebowitz; and her brother Louis Levy. She is survived by: her children, Steven, Donna Liebowitz, Laura, George Fuhrman, Susan and Michael La Kier; her grandchildren, Sarah, Michael Harris, Melissa, Jason Schwarz, Allison, Benjamin Schindler, Benjamin La Kier and Rachel La Kier; and her great grandchildren, Eilah, Shai Schwarz and Henry Harris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the North Atlanta Memorial Park (5188 Winters Chapel Rd, Atlanta, GA 30360).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Adas Yeshurun Synagogue in Augusta, Georgia, Shir Chadash in Metairie, Louisiana, Congregation B'nai Torah in Atlanta, Georgia or the charity of choice, reflecting Terry's giving spirit.
