He was predeceased by: his mother Sary Neang. He is survived by: his wife Kanetha Chau; his children, Vatey Chau, Theodore Chau, Sidney Chau and Timothy Chau; and his sisters, Neurun Chau, Sarith Tan, Kunthea Karr, Sophy Chea and Marom Kemp.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
