He was predeceased by: his wife Helen DeValcourt Schexnaydre; his parents, Joseph Lucien Schexnaydre and Maudrie Hebert Schexnaydre; and his siblings, Hazel Keating, Wilbert Schexnaydre and Nolan Schexnaydre.
He is survived by: his children, Esther Catalanotto (Arthur), Gale Martinez (Jimmie), Stacie Nurdin (David), Kurt Schexnaydre (Maureen) and Kyle Schexnaydre (Dawn); his sister Phyllis Piazza; and his grandchildren, Michael Schexnaydre (Greer), Lauren Landry (Peter), Salvatore Peraino (Brittney), Alise Walker (Matthew), Rachel Brown (Shawn), Page Bordelon (Taylor), Melissa Luft (Joshua) and Nacole Diaz (Byron). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
