Simon Crier Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2024, at the age of 76, Simon Crier Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Lee Spann Crier and Simon Crier Sr. Mattie Spann; and his wife Trenia M. Crier. He is survived by: his sister Gertrude Crier Weatherspoon (Trudy); his nephew Shomari Weatherspoon (Vonetta Weatherspoon); his niece Dortreney Weatherspoon (Dottie); and his siblings-in-law, Valeria Aquil (late Haneef), Shawishi St. Julien (Mtumishi), Vanissia Morton Prout, Charles Morton (Dorothy), Glenn Morton (Gloria) and Maurrice Morton (Pam). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the St. Roch Cemetery (1725 St Roch Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117).
