She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Perkins and Hure Walker Sr.; her close friend James Larry "Gator" Pierce; her brothers, John Henry Walker, Lee Walker Sr. and Michael Jefferson; her aunts, Margaret Perkins, Luberta Fleming and Idamae Perkins; her cousin James Perkins (Pete); and her close friend Denise Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Shakhalila, Larrynisha and Khalil Johnson; her siblings, Sumellow Jones, Delphia Walker, Vera White, Stayce Demoulin, Gwendolyn Mitchell, Freddie Johnson, Terrell Jones, Hure C. Walker Jr., Willie and Kevin White; her grandchildren, Micheal, Khali, Khalil, Khai'lan, Khyler, McKieren, McKenzie, Kyrie Johnson, Alicia, Louis Barnes, Mason Hampton, Crystalynn Madison and Karlie Bartholomew; and her cousins, Roslyn Perkins and Debra Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Stephen Baptist Church (1738 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
