He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff, Jr. Hines and Luella Hines; his siblings, Bernadine Moran, Eddie and Jeffrey Hines; and his niece Zita Hines.
He is survived by: his wife Elois Hines; his brothers, Jihad and Al-Mujaheed; his children, Sonya Bullock (Sokoto), Ronald, Jr., Jamal, Sr. (Latashia) and Lerone Hines, Sr. (Lauren); and his close friend Patricia Morgan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter Claver Church (1923 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
