With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Coleman of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnett J. Coleman and Stella R. Coleman (Gougis); his grandparents, Alex, Edna Gougis (Anderson), Joseph and Sarah Smith (Hicks); his nephew Jerel B. Coleman; and his brother Felton J. Coleman.
He is survived by: his siblings, John B. Coleman (Geneva), Glenn E. Coleman, Reginald J. Coleman (JoeAnn) and Katherine C. Jackson (Richard); his children, Kimberley Bridgewater-Edwards, Jacque Coleman, Marcus Coleman and Deshawn Coleman; and his grandchildren, Kayla Edwards, Jordan Edwards and Michael Edwards. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (1441 Teche St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
