He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DiMaggio and Sarah Duca DiMaggio; and his sister Marie St. Philip. He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Staiger; his children, Dawn DiMaggio, Deanna Allen (Michael), David DiMaggio Sr. (Anna) and Dina Martinez; and his sisters, Elizabeth DiMaggio, Lorraine Schembre and Jacqueline Turner. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (6666 Spanish Fort Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A Mass will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
