He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Smith Harris and Paul Harris, Sr.; his brothers, William Harris and James B. Harris; and his sons, Michael Harris, Bobby, Robert and Charles James.
He is survived by: his children, Kim (late Jesse) and Karen Wiltz; and his friend David Sholes, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church (2319 Third St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
