She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ancona Herkender and Clarence Herkender, Sr.. She is survived by: her partner Mary Dupuy; her brother Clarence Herkender, Jr. (Charlotte); her nephew Kyle Herkender (Loretta); and her nieces, Ginger Herkender and Amanda Herkender West (Christopher). She is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
