She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sykes and Melva Oliver Sykes; her siblings, Dorothy Staggers and Richard Sutleff; and her aunt Pauline Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Johanis T. Luckett; her children, Terrance D. Sykes, Sr. (Sonya) and Tanisha S. Smith (Jonathan); her siblings, Theresa S. Lewis (Darryl), Merial S. Farve (Wilbert), Therosine White (Warren), Sybil Sorina, James Joseph Sykes (Paulette) and Arthur Sykes Sr. (Doris); and her siblings-in-law, Dora Saverin, Stella Ford, Lucille Sutleff and Mack Luckett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family & friends.
During the pandemic, Nathalie joined Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church, under the leadership of her other son, Pastor Jonathan F. Smith.
