He was predeceased by: his daughters, LaVonna Denise George and Ingrid Glynell George (Williams); his brothers, George Carter, Wilfred Carter and Lawrence George; and his parents, Fannie Wrice and Lawrence George.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Stephens George; and his sons, Eric George (Phyllis) and Errol George (Dana). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
