With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Stevens Banks of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stevens and Doris Stevens of Jamaica; her brother Wilton Francis; her stepdaughter Leslie Duret; and her stepgrandson Keenan Baham.

She is survived by: her husband Leonard R. Banks Sr.; her stepsons, Norman Jenkins, Leonard R. Banks Jr. and Keenan (Miriam); and her stepgrandchildren, Keenada, Kentrell, Keenya, Melvin, Marvin, Jerrell and Jamaal. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
