She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Joseph and Rhoda Meyer Hargis; her grandparents, Walter Conrad and Mary Louise Sair Meyer; her husband John Marshall Coxe; her friend Dr. Manuel Paez, MD (Manny); her son Jack Coxe; her stepsons, Leland (Kathy), David and Johnny Coxe (Carol); her brother Dr. Robert Hargis, MD of Covington; her grandchildren, Hope Gann, Christopher Coxe (Brittni) and Stefanie Coxe (Christian); and her nieces, Rhoda Hackman (Jeff), Mary Hathorn (Miles) and Rachel Rush (Allen).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (2729 Lowerline St, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Martin Lawrence Gallery (433 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70130).
