He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Claude James and Melvin Prater; and his great-grandparent Florence Carter. He is survived by: his son Malcolm Solomon, Jr.; his parents, Melvin Prater and Wanda Solomon; his grandmother Deborah Solomon; his siblings, Albanisha Solomon, Precious Solomon and Ashia Hart; his nieces and nephews, Willow Kagler, Tori Solomon and Zayne Solomon; and his cousin Leon Reynolds. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (230 Monroe St, Gretna, LA 70053). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
