With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lynn Perkins Perez (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Bunkie, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her husband Chalin O. Perez; and her parents, Gloria Brisolara Perkins and David Mechling Perkins. She is survived by: her children, Chalyn David Perez (Ann), Kathlyn Perez Bethune (Beau), Cherielyn Perez Russell (Lawerence) and Carlyn Octave Perez (Katie); her grandchildren, Ava Grace Perez, Katherine Elise Perez, Thomas Jackson Bethune V, Bishop Chalin Bethune, Larson Mechling Russell, Annabel Agnes Russell, Chalin Brooks Perez and Blake Lynn Perez; her sister Kathryn Perkins Randall (late Craig W. Randall); her nephews, Kevin Randall (Carrie Beth) and David Randall (Daria); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie Randall, Allie Randall, Donovan Randall and Dexter Randall; her stepson Robert Henry Perez (Donna); her stepgrandchildren, Robert Henry Perez Jr. (Natalie), Christina Perez May (Corey) and Mary Perez Chatry (Mark); her son Christopher Cass; her godchildren, Patrick Little (Jeannelle) and Patra M. Coco; and also, Liam, Henry Perez, Helen, Jane May, Adaire C. O'Brien (Ed), Lucy, Jude, Nora O'Brien, Margaret C. Borne (Brett), Lex, Luis Borne and Lt Cmdr.
