She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Joseph Jung, Jr.; her son Thomas Clifford Jung; her parents, Martin Leo McAuliffe and Pauline Mathern McAuliffe; and her brother Martin Leo McAuliffe, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kristina J. West (David P. West, II), Jennifer Phillips (Greg), Melvin J. Jung, IV (Audrey), Dr. Aimée K. Thomas (Shannon), Patrick Thomas (Tara), Melissa Renee Mojica (Michael) and Rebecca Perales (Stevan); her great grandchildren, Stephanie M., David P. West, III, Chaney, Grayson, Lindsey Phillips, Tessa A., Damon P. J. Jung, Kathryn, Luke Thomas and Mikayla Mojica; and her close friends, Margaret Moffatt Larson and Lauren Moffatt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
