She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore LeSassier and Alma Perch LeSassier; her husband Charles M. Maldonado, Sr.; her son Charles Maldonado, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, George and Dorothy Berthelot Saucier.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Sr. and Wayne; her children-in-law, Judy Vallet Maldonado and Sandy Byrd-Maldonado; her grandchildren, Gina Maldonado Dupart (Robert), Monique Hull (Tony), Alan, Jr., Kevin, Nedra, Mark, Jason, Paul, Sean, Jade, Nicholas, Tori Maldonado, Jaimie Lewis and Kelly Fernandez (Anthony); and her siblings, Irene Duffaut (Calvin), Evelyn Haynes (Donald Sr.), Marlene Duronslet (Archille, Sr.), Diana, Theodore (Josephine), Paul, Sr., Stanley and Milton LeSassier. She is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Corpus Christi/Epiphany Catholic Church (2022 St Bernard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
