She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Clotile Tennette and Edgar Gabrielle Dobard; her great-aunt Elvira Dobard (Vavsie); her husband Elliot Ashton Kaufman Sr.; her daughter Kim; her siblings, Mary Gabrielle, Edgar Gregoire, Claude and Hubert; and her niece Ann Marie Roussell.
She is survived by: her brother Frederick Dobard Sr.; her children, Elliot A. Kaufman II (Linda Kaufman), Laurie Kaufman Hasan (late Rashed Hasan), Melissa Kaufman Cheston (Ken Cheston), Kristie Kaufman Rollen (Lee Rollen), Bernadette Gildspinel and Gregory A. Kaufman; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Kaufman, Nicole Kaufman, Mathieu Pinel, Nile Rollen and Emily Cheston; her great grandchildren, Jaykell, Kelley Nicole, Keyshawn, Yves, Sea and Masai; and her niece Kelly Roussell-Savoy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
